Daily Sketches October 6th 2013

 

Here are the sketches I did today.  These characters decided they didn't want me to draw the ones I should be for my assignment so they made me draw them instead.

 

 

I really like this second one.  I would like to try and clean it up digitally if I have time and colour it.



INKtober 4, 5, and 6

 

I didn't do anything for inktober these past 2 days so today I decided to do 3 of them to make up for it.  I tried to mix it up a bit with different in techniques.  These are the drawings I came up with.

 



INKtober Day 3

Heres my INKtober drawing of the day. I bought some coloured ink and had some fun with it. I'm really having fun experimenting with ink.  I didn't really get any other drawings done today that I could post because I was hard at work on an animation assignment. I will try to post my final pencil test for that when its done.  But for now INKtober! 

INKtober Day 2

 

Today I continued to experiment with ink and water.  It was fun to put water all over the page then watch the ink spread.  I'm having way too much fun with this whole INKtober thing.

 



Daily Sketch #7 October 2nd 2013

 

My hero character for my character design class.  Still playing with her outfit a bit but I like this one a little better than the last one I had. 

 



INKtober Day 1

 

Today I was told about this lovely little challenge called Inktober.  Which is great because its the 1st of October so I can actually try to participate in this.  It's generally what it sounds like.  Do an ink drawing on every day of October.  I had fun with this.  So much in fact that I was dipping my fingers into my bottle of ink to smear it over the page.

 



Daily Sketch #6 October 1st 2013

 

Today I decided to try and play around with using pencil scans as line work and added colour to my sketch.  It was a fairly quick colouring job but I am still trying to work my way back into digital drawings (seeing as its been a long time since I really focused on finishing a nice digital illustration)  I'm hoping doing little sketches like this will help me get back into doing full out digital drawings like I used to do.
